1. Nature of Services (The “Hybrid Model” Clause)

Overwatch Fire Protection Management LLC (“Company”) operates as a licensed fire protection contractor and a dedicated owner's representative/consultant.

• Consulting Services: When acting solely as a consultant, we provide oversight, audit third-party quotes/invoices, and facilitate compliance management. In this capacity, we are an advocate, not the physical executor of the work.
• Contracting Services: When engaged directly for contracting work, we perform physical inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and installation services for fire protection systems. This work is performed under our valid state contractor licenses.
• Service Distinctions: These terms govern both models. Your specific signed agreement will dictate whether the scope of work is consulting-based, contracting-based, or a hybrid of both.

2. Licensing and Compliance

Overwatch is a fully licensed and bonded fire protection contractor in the State of Washington.

• All contracting work is performed by licensed field technicians in compliance with NFPA standards, the International Fire Code (IFC), and local AHJ amendments.
• When acting in a hybrid capacity, we may provide both initial consulting and subsequent repair/installation services. These services will be line-itemed separately to maintain full transparency.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including the “Fire & Life Safety Knowledge Center,” logos, checklists, and text—is the exclusive property of Overwatch Fire Protection Management LLC. You may download our PDFs for personal or internal business use only. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute our materials to third parties without written permission.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Overwatch Fire Protection Management LLC and its officers from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Website or your violation of these Terms.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. You agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration in Pierce County, WA, rather than in court.
